Biography

Henry was born about the 2 October 1873 at Waihi Bush, South Canterbury, New Zealand, he was the son of Robert John Taylor and Susan Harriet (Barwell) Taylor . [1]

He married Bridget Cecily (Earl) Taylor on the 19 March 1903 in New Zealand. [2] They had at least five children;

  1. Doris Marion Taylor. 1906 - 1909,
  2. Phyllis Mary (Taylor) Madden, “Molly”, b. 1909 - 1996,
  3. Gwendoline Rose Taylor, b. 1911 - 1983,
  4. Leo Earl Taylor, b. 1916 - 1978,
  5. Henry Earl Taylor "Jack", b. 1917 - ?,

Henry passed away on the 5 November 1934 at the Balclutha Hospital, Ashburton District, Canterbury, New Zealand, he was buried on the 7 November 1934 at the Ashburton Public Cemetery, Ashburton, Ashburton District, Canterbury, New Zealand Plot: Area 168, Plot 26. [3]
