Steph, perhaps this will also help. If you just want to explore and search for relatives or family information you can do that as a guest without volunteering.

To help you with your search, check out the “Find” button. Clicking the “Matches for family”or the “Surnames” buttons may show you the way to some family info or connections.

In the “Help” area you can post questions in the G2G forum. We have a lot of people who are willing to help. Just ask. Good Luck. Bill :-D

Hi Steph. Slow down, take a deep breath and relax. If you are having problems there are people here willing to help. It is not a trial period, as we do not charge for this site. If you wish to enter your father's name. Go to your own profile, and click on the "father" space. This will open a page where you can enter the data you wish. Go back to your profile and do the same with the "mother" space. Ask if you need more help. See my next post. Bill :-D
