She was born to the parents of Sybil Mary Hopkinson and Captain John Vickris Taylor.[1] She was born in the 4th quarter of 1907, citing Birth Registration, Edmonton, Middlesex, England.[2]
Marriage
She was married twice, firstly to Mark Everard Pepys, 6th Earl of Cottenham, son of the Lady Rose Nevill and Kenelm Charles Edward Pepys, 4th Earl of Cottenham, on the 19th of January 1927.[3] They were married at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.[4] The marriage ended in divorce in 1939. She married for a second time, Charles Christopher Courtenay, 17th Earl of Devon, son of Marguerite Silva and the Reverend Frederick Leslie Courtenay, 16th Earl of Devon, on the 29th of July 1939.[1] They were married at Newbury, Berkshire, England.[5]
