Matilda was born about 1860. She was the daughter of Mary Ann and Richard Taylor [1]
Matilda married Curtis Coster in 1884. [2]
He passed away in 1900.
1907 - Matilda married Walter Freeth. [3]
Her sister Angelina Trice nee Yorke nee Taylor was one of 75 drowned when the SS Penguin sunk in 1909.
She passed away in 1934 age 69 [4]
Mrs. Angelina Trice was a widow (twice married).. One of her sons, Mr. Geo. York, resides atCrail Bay. She has thrco brothers and six sisters, as follow:—Messrs A J Taylor (Spring Creek), Wm." Taylor (Motueka), Walter F. Taylor (Taranaki), Mrs. Walter Freeth (Koromiko), Mrs. Dave Dunn (Port Awanui), .Mrs, Harry Slight (Auckland), Mrs. Albert Campion (Rata), 'Mrs. Godfrey M'Nab (Crail Bay), arid Mrs. Arthur Manning (Queensland). ' [5]
