Amanda was born 3 Apr 1851 in Baxter, Putnam County, Tennessee. She is the daughter of Silas Taylor and Mary Walker. Amanda married Silas Pittman "Pitt" Gentry in 11 Oct 1866. Amanda died 30 Dec 1929 in Cookeville, Putnam County, Tennessee. She was buried 31 Dec 1929 at Joe Bob Allison Cemetery, Baxter, Putnam, Tennessee. Mary Taylor passed away in 1919.[1] Buried with her husband Pitt in Joe Bob Allison Cem
