Mary Ann Taylor, who was also known as Ann and Annie, was born in 1854 in Leeds, and she was christened there, in Christ Church, on the 13th of September 1854.

Mary Ann Taylor, who was also known as Ann and Annie, was born in Leeds in the West Riding of Yorkshire in 1854.^[1] As of yet Annie's parents are uncertain but her parents may have been Mathew Taylor and Emma (Standidge) Taylor. If so Annie had at least two siblings; Thomas William, and Emma.^[2]
