Baptised in Carsington, Derbyshire on the 19th July 1772 (father Isaac, mother not recorded)[1][2], married Rebecca/Rebekah Unknown before 1802 (based on baptism record of first child, Ann Taylor baptised 15 Oct 1802[1]), died about February 1837 and was buried in Carsington on 19th February 1837[1].
Possible match for the marriage in Mappleton, Derbyshire (near Ashbourne), 8 miles from Carsington, a Samuel Taylor of Wirksworth married Rebecca Henstock on the 17th September 1801[3][4]. (Date, geography and the name match is good, the only doubt is Samuel described as being from Wirksworth parish rather than Carsington, as Taylor is quite a common name in the area Adair-1243 11:25, 1 November 2015 (EST))
