Francis Taylor was born about 1722 in Carsington, Derbyshire and baptised on the 25th October 1722 (father Francis, mother Hannah)[1][2], he married Mary Taylor in Carsington on the 11th January 1758 (witnesses: John Stafford (brother-in-law) and Edmund Boardsley (Beardsley?))[1][3], died about January 1778 in Carsington, and was buried on the 25th January 1778[1].
