Biography
Isabelle E Taylor, daughter of Joseph Matthew Taylor and Susan M. Davis, was born in Aug. 1871 in Nebraska.
She appeared on the census of 9 June 1880 in the home of her parents at Nebraska City, Otoe County, Nebraska.[1] She appeared on the census of 11 June 1900 at Nebraska City, Otoe Co., Nebraska, the household included: Joseph M Taylor 65, Susan M Taylor 59 and their daughter, Isabelle E Taylor 28, born Aug. 1871. Joseph was the census enumerator for his family.[2] She appeared on the census of 19 April 1910 at Nebraska City, Otoe County, Nebraska, USA, the household included: Joseph M Tayloe 75; his wife: Susan M Tayloe 69 and their daughter: Belle E Taylor 37.[3] Her father died in 1914 and she appeared on the census of 8 Jan. 1920 at Nebraska, Otoe Co., Nebraska the household included: Susan M Taylor 79; and her daughter: Isabelle Taylor 48.[4] She was a sales lady for clothing when she appeared on the census of 8 April 1930 in the home of her sister, Katherine, and brother-in-law, Alfred J. Miller, at Nebraska City, Otoe County, Nebraska.[5]
Isabelle died before 10 Dec. 1931 the date of her burial, probably at Otoe County and was buried at Plot: OG-229-04, Wyuka Cemetery, Nebraska City, Otoe County, Nebraska. While the memorial does not have a date of birth and there is no link to that of her family, it is almost certainly hers as her plot is right next the plot for her mother.[6]
