Biography

Elizabeth, known as Betsy, was born on 1 Nov 1766 in Cumberland County, Virginia, to James Taylor and Ann Owen. On 22 Jan 1789, she married Edward Adams in Henry County, Virginia. Betsy and Edward had about five children, but only three were named in Edward's 1847 will. Betsy died before 1810 in Jackson County, Georgia.

Mary (Taylor) Cornell

I have edited Betsy's death date to 'before 1810', which is accurate based on Edward Adams's marriage to Tabitha Stovall on 15 July 1810. I have found no source on Ancestry or FamilySearch to support Betsy's purported 13 December 1808 date of death--but would be delighted to learn from the PMs that there is a source.

Elizabeth died on Dec 13, 1808, but her youngest child, Benjamin was born about 1810. Perhaps change that death date to "before 1808".
