Obituary
Services for Martha T. Johnson, 94, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, with interment at 4 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Greenville, South Carolina. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Irmo Building Fund, 7068 Nursery Road, Columbia, South Carolina 29223.
Mrs. Johnson, of Columbia, South Carolina, and formerly of Taylors, South Carolina, died Monday, February 14, 2005. Born in Laurens, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lenora Nelson Taylor. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Irmo.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rita Johnson Rish and David R. Young of Irmo, South Carolina; grandchildren, Brent C. Rish of Rhode Island, Shannon Young Winters of Alabama, Wendy Young Carmical Houseright of Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Hunter Carmical, Austin Carmical, and Dillon Houseright; and a sister, Mildred T. Moore of Laurens, South Carolina.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Johnson; sisters, Katherine Taylor Weir, Rebecca Taylor Childress; and brothers, Robert Taylor and Charles Taylor.[1]
