Nanny (Taylor) Knowles was born in Warburton, Cheshire, England.
Nanny Taylor was born in about 1806 in Warburton, Cheshire, England. [1]
When Nanny was about 28 she married John Knowles on 3 August 1834 in Bowdon, Cheshire.[2]
In 1861 she was living with her husband, 5 children and her son in law in Dog Lane, Farnworth, Widnes, Lancashire. Her husband was a farmer of 30 acres. [3]
In 1871 Nanny was living in Bellhouses Farm, Widnes with her husband, 2 daughters, her son-in-law and 3 grandchildren. Her husband was a farmer of 27 acres employing 1 man. [1]
Nanny died at the age of about 68 in 1874 Her death was registered in Prescot, Lancashire. [4]

Original profile showed a death location of Halton View, Widnes, which is very credible but was unsourced. No supporting documents have been found. Widnes has been retained as a death location.
