Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1684. She is said to be the daughter of James Taylor and Mary Gregory, but no reliable record supports this. She passed away in 1695. [1]

According to the Erasmus Taylor family Bible, this Elizabeth was born 10 Jun 1694 and died in infancy. The 12 Jan 1684 birth date belongs to her sister Ann.

Taylor-8285 and Taylor-8280 appear to represent the same person because: Stella Pickett Hardy's Colonial Families of the Southern States of America shows an Elizabeth, who died young, born to James Taylor and Mary Gregory in 1684 (your Taylor-8280), but it does not make sense that there would have been a second Elizabeth (your Taylor-8285) born in 1694, a year before the first Elizabeth died. Recommend merging Taylor-8285 into Taylor-8280 and keeping the birth & death dates of Taylor-8280.

Taylor-8285 looks like a duplicate-same name and parents;same birth and death locations
