Biography

Sarah Tedford was born on 4 April 1793, in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia ^[1] to Samuel Tedford and Abigail Pitman. She married Abner Saunders on 6 November 1817, in Annapolis Royal, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 5 daughters.

She lived in the household of her son Samuel Sanders, Carleton Corner, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1871 and 1881. She died on 13 July 1886, in Nova Scotia, Canada, at the age of 93, and was buried in West Paradise, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada.
