Biography
Thomas Tenney was born on 16 July 1648 in Rowley, Massachusetts. His parents were Thomas Tenney and Ann (Mighill) Tenney.
He married Margaret Hidden at Rowley on 8 September 1680. Their children were as follows:
- 1. Margaret, born November 1681
- 2. Ann, born 26 August 1683
- 3. Sarah, born May 1685; married Thomas Tenney
- 4. Elizabeth, born 23 April 1687; married John Sawyer
- 5. Hannah, born 27 January 1689
- 6. Samuel, born 21 August 1692
- 7. Ruth, born 26 February 1694
- 8. Mehitable, born 29 July 1699; married Jonathan Shepherd
Thomas died at Rowley, Massachusetts, on 7 August 1730, described as "an old man."
