Eli was born in 1876. He was the son of William Terwilliger. He passed away in 1966, and was buried at Concord Presbyterian Cemetery, Clarion County, Pennsylvania.^{[1] [2]}

Obituary

Eli Tilden Terwilliger, 89, of Parker R.D. 1, died at 5:30 p.m. yesterday (28 Apr 1966)in his home, after two weeks illness.

A retired farmer, he was born and had spent his entire life in Perry Township, Clarion County. Born October 20, 1876, he was the son of, William L. and Margaret Reddick Terwilliger. He and his wife would have observed their 60th wedding anniversary this summer.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Laura Foust Terwilliger; five sons, Donald of Chicora, Warren and Paul of Hamburg, NY, Russell of Amherst, Ohio and Richard at home; three daughters, Mrs. Melville (Glenna) Morgan of Butler, Mrs. Harold (Dorothy) Carmichael of Trafford, and Mrs. Alton (June) Bingamen of Gaithersburg, MD; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Oswald of Parker R.D. and Hazel Terwilliger of Erie; 30 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held and burial made Sunday.

TERWILLIGER-Friends of Eli Tilden Terwilliger of Parker R.D. 1, who died Thursday, April 28, 1966 will be received at the Hawk Funeral Home, Sligo, Saturday afternoon and evening. Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Internment will be in Concord Cemetery.
