Orine Rebecca Bishop retired cosmetologist

SANATORIUM - Orine Rebecca Bishop, 75, a retired cosmetologist, died of cancer Monday in Magee General Hospital.

Services are 2 p.m. today at Mims-Mitchell Funeral Home in Magee with burial in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Bishop was a member of Goodwater Baptist Church. She worked for Joy's Beauty Salon and operated a salon in her home until she retired.

Mrs. Bishop enjoyed yard work and cultivated prize-winning flowers and beautiful ferns. She loved spending time with her husband and neighbors.

Survivors include: husband, Lee; son, Billy Lee of Mendenhall; stepdaughters, Juliette Purvis of Plaquemine, La., and Lena Faye Hudson of Brandon; and seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.^[4]
