Mar Homer Thames registered for military service as recorded in this September 12, 1918 United States World War I Draft Registration Card. His birth was listed as July 24, 1884 in United States. His address was Red Oak, Campbell County, Georgia. His occupation was farming and RFD carrier. His nearest relative was Mrs. M.E. Thames of Red Oak, Campbell County, Georgia. He was short and medium build with brown eyes and brown hair as seen in this image of the original form.^[1]
