Biography

Solomon Tharp was born abt 1750 in Kent Co. on the Delaware (river) nka DE. Solomon Tharp passed away in 1849.[1]

Solomon Tharp is said to have been a Revolutionary War Soldier, Enlisted in the 4th Reg on 15 Jan 1777 and served as a private at Valley Forge and Morristown, NJ [2] 16 Oct 1750 , given as his dob, is EXACT date of LWT [New Jersey Abstract of Wills, p481] of Solomon Thorp, Woodbridge, NJ w/widow a Hannah! but she was not Hannah TATE who was a Quaker from PA who married out of the faith to Solomon Tharp born in Delaware.[3]
