She and her family were held as prisoners of war at Fort Edward, Nova Scotia, around October 11, 1762. British documents indicate that there were five persons in her family group in October 1762. [5] Her husband and 4 children immigrated to Louisiana.
It isn't presently known more about Agnés or exactly when she died. She isn't listed on the Wall of Names at the Acadian Memorial which indicates she died before her family arrived in Louisiana. Her husband Joseph is listed on the Wall along with four of their children: Francois, Claude, Amand and Francoise.[6]
