Biography

Parents, Birth, Baptism

Martin Thibodeaux, son of Firmin Charles Thibodeau and Marie Madeleine Theriot, was born either at sea or shortly upon arrival at New Orleans and was baptized on 18 Oct 1785 at the St. Louis Church in New Orleans. Louisiana.[1]

Marriages, Children

Martin first married Anne Marguerite Dugas, daughter of Pierre Dugas and Rosalie LeBlanc, on 5 Feb 1805 at the Assumption Church in Plattenville, Louisiana.[2] Their known children were:

Anne Marguerite died sometime between the birth of Elizabeth in Aug 1825 and Jul 1828.[13] Martin then married Anne Marine Babin,[14] daughter of Paul Babin and Marguerite Brasseau, on 21 Jul 1828 at the St. Gabriel Church in St, Gabriel, Louisiana.[15] No children are known to have been born of this marriage.

Death, Burial

Martin died sometime before Jul 1831 when Anne Marine married Francois Landry.[16]
