First Name is Mary according to book North America Family Histories 1500-2000 under Dawson for Col John Dawson her husband. Does reference her going by Elizabeth (Elizabeth Boddie) as well.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elizabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elizabeth:
X-9998 and Thomas-3189 appear to represent the same person because: they share similar vital statistics, the same parents, the same spouse, Colonel John Dawson, and the same daughter, Elizabeth Mary Dawson.
Thomas-17634 and X-9998 appear to represent the same person because: they share similar vital statistics, the same father, the same spouse and the same daughter.
Thomas-17634 and Thomas-10429 appear to represent the same person because: There are small differences in vital data, but these appear to be the same person.
marriage date can't be right (after husband died).
From a private e-mail: ". . . But on Thomas-5568, I just checked his daughter Elizabeth (Thomas) Boddie, and it says that she was married in 1734. I don't see how that is possible if her husband died in 1720 (and their son John Jr. supposedly born about 1710). I suspect that 1734 might be the marriage date of John Boddie Jr. instead of John Sr.
