Biography

When Bernice Clifford Thomas was born on January 7, 1899, in New Brunswick, Canada, his father, William, was 50 and his mother, Sarah, was 31. He married Vivian M. Strout on December 25, 1930, in Maine. They had one child during their marriage. He died on November 2, 1947, at the age of 48.

In 1901, Burnice [sic] Thomas was 2 years old and lived in Carleton, Canada with his father, mother, 4 brothers, and sister.(1)

In 1910, Bernas [sic] C. Thomas was 11 years old and lived in Milo, Maine with his father, mother, and 4 brothers.(2)

On Sept. 12, 1918, Bernice Clifford Thomas was living in Piscataquis, Maine, when he registered for the World War I draft. (9)

In 1920, Bernice C. Thomas was 20 years old and lived in Milo, Maine with his father and mother.(3)

Bernice Thomas arrived in Manitoba, Canada, on August 5, 1921, at the age of 22.(6)
