As an illegitimate child of my father, I have always wondered about his side of the family. My aunt told me what she knew, but her mother, my grandmother, had been "orphaned". I started doing genealogy to learn more and discovered my grandmother was removed from her Native American family by the government.

I have genuinely enjoyed discovering the branches of my own and friends' family trees for the last 7 years.
