William purchased 200 acres of land on Big Muddy Creek in Butler County that was adjacent to his brother Carter Thompson from Reuben Fields on May 3, 1810. [1]
William purchased items in Butler County, Kentucky from the estate of his brother John C. Thompson, who died in 1822. William's siblings Samuel Thompson, administrator, and Elizabeth "Betsey" Hill also purchased some of John's former possessions. [2] [3]
