Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

I see that you have uploaded a GEDCOM. Excellent!

WikiTree's GEDCOM process is quite different from what you may be used to on other sites. But have no fear! These help pages can make your experience go more smoothly:

Uploading vs. importing - You have already uploaded a GEDCOM; importing it is optional.
GEDCompare - This match process is required if you plan to proceed with an import.
Before importing a GEDCOM - Required reading for anyone who plans to import a GEDCOM.
After importing a GEDCOM - How to tidy up the strange formatting and oddball tags that get imported as part of each profile.
