Biography

1900 residence North Middletown, North Middletown District, Bourbon County, KY; 1910 residence Paris Ward 3, Bourbon County, KY

He was long a noted educator in Kentucky and one of the best known in the south. He received his education at Transylvania College, Lexington, KY and later attended college at Ann Arbor, MI. After graduation he practiced law for two years at Mt. Sterling, KY after which he began his career as an educator.

He is buried in the Paris Cemetery, Paris, Bourbon County, KY.
