Alicia Thomson was the youngest daughter of John Thomson and his wife Sarah Ann Abbott. She was born in Kyneton Victoria in 1872.
Miss Alicia Thomson has been promoted from the position of pupil teacher in the Kyneton State school to that of eighth assistant in the State school at White Hills, Bendigo. [1]

Alicia Downing died in Perth Western Australia in 1948[3]
