Hey S,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards .

If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .

If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.

A project of note is the Global Family Reunion check it out at Global Family Reunion.

Questions? Ask via my profile page. Mags

Hello S,

How are you doing? Hope you're enjoying our site.

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree. Please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well.

Feel free to check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide.

Also Help Index with links to topics you may have questions on. Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our generous members help each other out.

And of course, I'm here to help in any way I’m able. Just ask!

Thank you, Ludwig. I missed adopting/merging Abraham Crocheron with Jason Clark's work on Abraham. It is a pending merge and I have not sorted out to implement the merge. The two are most definitely the same person. I have additional information on the Nelson, Shelburne, Nova Scotia's infamous privateer vessel.

Thank you.

Hi S,

Great to see you offering help to the WikiTree community. You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree. Once you entered your family members it is exciting to see other people finding your family profiles, asking questions, and expanding it.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the G2G forum, you might want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Great to have you on board, good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree. As you say, lets cracking!!

Hi,

I love family history. I live in Nova Scotia. I love collecting information on our history, and I have data mined probated wills, land deed registries, Canadian and US national and Canadian provincial archives, Ancestry, the net, family historians and there are many riches out there awaiting discovery. It is important to continue to expand, enrich and share our collective history.

I will gladly share some of my material.

I have limited time but I have some gems to share about
