Annie Lee Thorn was born 27 Mar 1910 in Lashmeet West,Virginia;-^[1][2] She was the daughter of Thomas Thorn and Martha Stull.

Sister of James Robert Thorn, George Thorn, Charles Thorn, Joseph Martin Thorn, Mary Bell Thorn, Jerry Davis Thorn and Sherman Edward Thorn.

Annie married Carl Lewis Duncan in 1930.^[3] Mother of Garnet Isabelle (Duncan) Burris, Rosa May (Duncan) Sikes, Bernard Harry Taylor, Buddy Roosevelt Duncan, Carl Edward Duncan, David Duncan, Charles Buford Duncan, Mary Duncan, James Duncan and Virginia Duncan
