Biography

Edward Lefferts Thorne, son of James Hall Thorne and Mary Piper, was born 23 Apr 1854. He married Jessie Sedgwick McNab in Dartmouth 11 Oct 1877. [1] [2] He was a bank clerk in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. [3] [4] By 1901, he had become a banker there. [5] Edward was an inspector for the Royal Bank by 1911 and was still living in Dartmouth. [6] Edward Thorne passed away in 1933.[7]
