Thorne-1428 and Thorne-195 appear to represent the same person because: Original uncertainty for merging these profiles was due to different spouses. This has been resolved by adding the sources and bio to Thorne-195 that show both first marriage of Thomas Thorne (1704-1765) to Penelope Coles in 1725 and second of Thomas Thorne (1704-1765) to Phebe Tillear Frost after 1751.

Hi,

Additional references suggest that the death date in the Westbury MM is in error. It is possible that this death date (1746/47) is a typo or that it is the death date of his first wife. I have added references to this profile.

Hi,

I uploaded an image of the Westbury MM data entered in Hishaw Encyclopedia Vol III. it is online. My interest and collaboration was to provide heads up that the death date of Thomas is given as 1746/47. At this time the profile says 1765
