He was born on 11 Sep 1719 in Flushing, New York and his parents were Ann (Stevenson) and Samuel Thorne.
Thomas Thorne married about 1739 to Sarah Haight.
He followed the Quaker faith.
He died on 12 Sep 1781 in North Castle, Westchester, New York, USA.
His last Will gave evidence of a considerable estate which was in probate on 12 Feb 1785.
