Ethel May Thorne was born 24th February 1879 ^[1][2] in Hildenborough, Kent, England ^[3]

Ethel May, a domestic servant, of Burnside, Sandhurst Road married Andrew Lindsay Welsh on the 16th April 1904 at St. Peter, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England. Witnessed by Charles Thomas Thorne & Edmund (sic) Alexr. Welsh^[4]

In 1939, Ethel May was living at 19 Lime Hill Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England with her husband Andrew (an upholsterer) ^[1]

Ethel May of 19 Lime Hill Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent died on the 10th July 1955 at the Kent & Sussex Hospital, Tunbridge Wells, Kent ^[5] and was buried on the 14th July 1955 at Tunbridge Wells Cemetery, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England in the same grave as her husband. Plot 4 243^[6].
