Biography

Samuel Perry Thorne was born on 19 Jan 1855 in Oxon Hill, Prince George's, Maryland. He was the son of William Stanisslaus Thorne and Sarah Virginia Lindsay.

Samuel married Eleanor Ann Lusby on 3 Dec 1884 in Prince Georges County, Maryland. After he death he married Nettie S Thorn in about 1896. Samuel was the father of Jessie Caroline Thorne, Thomas Standish Thorne, Elmer Perry Thorne, Sydney Hunter Thorne, Ruth Thorne, Pearl Thorne, Catherine Ula Thorne, Harry Thorne and Joseph Leonard Thorne.

Samuel Perry Thorne died on 6 Mar 1922 (aged 67) in Oxon Hill, Prince George's County, Maryland.
