Biography

Thomas Thorowgood died young.

Thomas Thorowgood was the first son of the Reverend William Thorowgood and his first wife Anne. Thomas was baptised at the parish church of Grimston, Norfolk, England where his father was the Rector. There is the number 1 against his name in the register entered in a different hand indicating that he was the first son:

Thomas Thorowgood the sonne of Will[ia]m Thorowgood Clarke was christened the sixt Daie of October Anno predicto [1588] ^[1]

Thomas died just before Christmas that same year at the age of about 3 months and was buried on 25 December 1588 at Grimston church: ^[2]
