Lydia Thorpe, daughter of William Thorpe and his wife, Mary Merchant, was baptised at Findon in Sussex on the 20th of April 1782. [1]
On the 9th of January 1809 at Angmering she married Charles Knight[2] and it was at Angmering that they raised their family. Children all flown by 1841 they were still at Angmering.[3]
Lydia died in 1841. Her death was registered at Worthing [4] and she was buried at St Margaret, Angmering on the 30th of November. [5]
