Obituary:

LANCASTER - Mr. Marion Rochel Threatt, 76, of 2925 Oakland Drive, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1993, at the Dorn Veterans Adminstration Hospital in Columbia.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Lancaster Chapel of Cauthen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marion Dry officating. Burial will be at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Threatt was retired owner/operator of the M.R. Threatt Garage. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Lancaster Senior Citizens.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Joyce Seegars Threatt, two sons, Keith Threatt Sr. and Charles Threatt Sr., both of Lancaster; three daughters, Linday Johnson, Betty Reedy and Barbara Ann Threatt, all of Lancaster; his brother, W.L. Threatt of Charlotte; four sisters, Elsie Bailey of Lillian, Ala. and Doris Knight, Luna McManus and Bonnie McManus, all of Lancaster; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Cauthen Funeral Home and other times at the home of Ralph and Linda Johnson, 1893 Douglas Road, Lancaster.

Memorials may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Van Fund, 3149 Great Falls Highway, Lancaster, S.C. 29720.
