George W. Threatt LANCASTER - Mr. George W. Threatt, 86, of 1334 Williams Fstate Drive died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, at home.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. to- day at Cauthen Funeral Home, Lancaster Chapel with the Rev. Dr. James D. Spencer III officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mr. Threatt was the son of the late Henry W. Threatt and Addie Gibson Threatt. He retired frpm Springs Industries as a carpenter foreman and was a member of Sec- ond Baptist Church. A World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy,..he was a member of Stafford Graham American Legion Post No. 31 and was a former member of the VFW and the 40 & 8.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret McAteer McDonald Threatt; two sons, Ronnie Threatt and Ronnie McDonald, both of Lancaster; four grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at home.
