Biography

When Marion D. Thurman was born on February 24, 1851, his father, Perkins, was 44 and his mother, Lydia, was 32. He married Virginia G. Grubbs on March 17, 1870, in Drew, Arkansas. They had 12 children in 24 years. He died on January 17, 1901, in Drew, Arkansas, at the age of 49, and was buried in Monticello, Arkansas.
