Note: son of William & Martha (Pool) Thurston of Rockport, Essex, Mass.
He m. 2nd, about 1815, Lucy Seward of Cape Elizabeth, Cumberland, Me, who had quite a large family by a previous marriage. William removed to Cape Elizabeth after his first wife died, joined the Congregational Church, May 8, 1808; lost all his property, and returned to Rockport to die.
