Sarah was born in Queens County, New York in 1740. She was the daughter of Jonathan Thurston and Elizabeth. Sarah was married to Daniel Tuthill about 1759. She died in Queens County, New York on 7 May 1780 and was buried at Prospect Cemetery in Jamaica, Queens, New York.
