Biography
Edwin R. Thurston of Mansfield, Connecticut was born about 1815. He married Sarah Gurley, daughter of Ebenezer Gurley of Mansfied, Connecticut, about 1838. They went to Indiana where he died Ocotber 3, 1853. No children were born to Edwin and Sarah (Gurley) Thurston. After his death, his widow returned to Mansfield, Connecticut.
