Biography

Robert was born 25 February 1712, the son of Stephen and Mary Thurston of Stratham, New Hampshire. He died at his brother John's February 16, 1752. Mr. Thurston deeded land in the township of Bow, N.H., "said land having belonged to my honored father Stephen of Stratham, N.H." He was in a company "guarding and scouting at Canterbury," under command of Captain Jeremiah Clough, from July 4 to July 9, 1746.
