Biography

Susannah was born in 1707. She is the daughter and youngest child of Henry Tibbetts and Joyce Otis. She passed away in 1792. She had three older brothers, Benjamin, Edward, and Paul, and a younger half-brother Richard.

Susanna married Samuel Kenney of Dover sometime before Sept 1727, the date of her father Henry's estate went through probate, in which she is mentioned under her married name in the records. Samuel was a descendant of Thomas Canney, one of the first settlers of Dover, NH. The later spelling of his name is given as "Kenney" or "Kenny".

She died in Lebanon, Maine in 1792. The death record says that she was a widow and the "mother of Capt John".. Cause of death was listed as "old age" (She was 83.)
