Jeremiah was a constable in Dover in 1698-9 and on the Grand Jury in 1693.[1]
On 28 May 1714 “Jeremiah Tebbets of ye Town of Dover… sold… to… Philip Yeatton of Dover… sixty five acres… being part of an hundred acre Lott granted to my Grandfather Henry Tebbetts in ye year ’56 Lying and being betweene St. Albans Cove and Quamphegan fall ye upper part there of beginning att the head of a forty acre Lott Sold to Wm Clark out of the aforesd hundred acres… the Queens roade only excepted”. Signed by Jeremiah and Mary Tebbetts. [2]
Jeremiah sold land to his nephew Samuel (his brother Thomas’ son) on 14 June 1717 and to his son Timothy taxed on Dover Neck 20 June 1717.[3]
