Marcia E Tibbetts, daughter of John Crowley Tibbetts and Harriet Dunphe, was born in 1876 in Maine. She married John P. Crandon in 1905. John was age 35 and a postmaster; Marcia was 28.

"Mrs Marcia E. Crandon" was a clerk in a post office in July 1905 for compensation of $180.00. ^[1]
