Biography

Henry was born in 1821. He was the son of Edward Tickner and Sarah Towner. He passed away in 1895. [1] [2]

25 Feb 1821: Henry Tickner, son of Edward and Sarah, christened at East Guldeford, Sussex, England.[3]

26 Oct 1839: Immigration of 18 year old florist Henry Tickner of Guildford, Surrey to New South Wales, Australia.[4]

13 Jul 1846: Marriage of Henry Tickner and Martha Rideout at Narrellan, New South Wales, Australia.[5] Known issue:-

Henry and Martha Tickner were my great great grandparents. Both are buried at the Weslyn Church, Cawdor, Via Camden NSW

They had 13 children - Martha 1849-1893, William 6/1850-12/1850 [tragically drowned] Elizabeth 1852-1929, Joseph Henry 1853-1863, Peter 1855-1929 [ my great grandfather] John 1856-1900, Florence 1858 [stillborn] James 18581941, Caroline 1861-?, Emily 1863-1941, Eliza 1865-1931, Edward 1867-1926, Mary Ann 1869-?
