Biography
John Josiah Tidwell was born about 1789 to Edmund Tidwell and Anna Hollis in Fairfield County, South Carolina.
He married Louvenia Roden in 1810 in Tennessee. Their children were:
- Harriett Tidwell
- John Roden Tidwell
- Orlena Arrena Tidwell
- Rowan Tidwell
- Kesterson Tidwell
- Sheba Tidwell
- Gazzam Tidwell
- Vienna Tidwell
He died, at the age of 73, about 1862 in Alabama.
