Shaver-Tierney Nuptials Held At Church Rectory "The marriage of Miss Mary Frances Tierney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William V. Tierney of 71 Newkirk avenue, to Deforest E. Shaver, son of Mr. and Mrs. Deforest Shaver of Port Ewen, was performed Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Joseph A. Geis officiated at the rectory of St. Peter's Church. The bride wore a light gray suit with brown accessories and a corsage of white gardenias. Miss Marilyn Genther, niece of the bride, as matron of honor wore a light brown suit with dark brown accessories and a corsage of white gardenias. Stephen Albright of Sleightsburgh was best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held for 100 guests at the Kozy Tavern. Mr. and Mrs. Shaver are making their home at 88 Hasbrouck avenue." - Kingston Daily Freeman, Kingston, N.Y.
